About

I'm Zoe, a folk dance caller based in Cambridgeshire, UK. I call for ceilidhs and barn dances, with a specialisation in Playford and historical dances. I call inclusive, fun dances with a dash of humour, making them enjoyable to learn and dance.

I'm happy to call weddings, parties, university events and festivals. I can work with a band you've booked, or if you want me to find a band for you, that's possible too. My aim is simple: a warm, unstuffy evening where people leave grinning and a little out of breath.

What I offer

  • Ceilidhs & barn dances

    Classic social dances for weddings, birthdays and celebrations. I teach every dance from the floor — guests need no prior experience.

  • Playford & historical dances

    A specialisation

    Elegant English country dances from the Playford tradition, for dance clubs, weddings and period-themed events.

  • Working with your band

    I'll work with a band you've booked, or help you find musicians to suit the evening and the budget.
