About
I'm Zoe, a folk dance caller based in the UK. I call for ceilidhs, barn dances and contra evenings — walking everyone through each dance so the whole room can join in, whether they've danced for years or never before.
I've called at weddings, parties, university events and festivals. My aim is simple: a warm, unstuffy evening where people leave grinning and a little out of breath.
What I offer
Ceilidhs & barn dances
Classic social dances for weddings, birthdays and celebrations. I teach every dance from the floor — guests need zero prior experience.
Contra evenings
Flowing, friendly contra for clubs and festivals, pitched to the room from beginners to seasoned dancers.
Working with your band
I'll happily work with your chosen band, or help you find musicians to suit the evening and budget.
